Syed Saddiq: Lure of receiving excessive pensions, reason why senior lawmakers unwilling to retire.

Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said the lure of receiving multiple pensions amounting to over a RM100,000 a month and more than a RM1mil in gratuity is why some senior lawmakers are unwilling to retire.

Speaking in the Parliament on Wednesday (Sept 29), he proposed that a special committee is set up to discuss issues surrounding multiple pensions and gratuity received by some long-serving lawmakers.

Possibly up to 59 million, have been displaced by America's "global war on terror" worldwide.

war criminals

 At least 37 million people, and possibly up to 59 million, have been displaced by America's "global war on terror" since it was launched by former President George W. Bush's administration 20 years ago, according to a report from Brown University's Cost of War project.

The report says that it offers the first comprehensive picture on how many people have been displaced by the conflicts waged by the US as part of the so-called "war on terror."

"The US post-9/11 wars have forcibly displaced at least 37 million people in and from Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, the Philippines, Libya, and Syria. This exceeds those displaced by every war since 1900, except World War II," the report states.

Taliban announce new interim government; the West is not pleased!

 When the Taliban announced their interim government today, the Western warlords once again went into a fit of frenzy.

Their military defeat had already led to much angst in Western capitals.

How dare they appoint people to their cabinet that we do not like, their mouthpieces are saying.

Western media outlets have also raised questions about the exclusion of women from the cabinet.

Here is the list of some of the ministers in the interim government:

1: Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, one of the movement’s founders, will serve as prime minister.

He had served in the earlier Taliban government (1996-2001) as deputy foreign minister.

2: Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, one of the cofounders of the movement, will serve as deputy prime minister;

3: Mullah Mohammad Yaqoob will serve as acting defence minister. He is the son of Taliban founder and late leader Mullah Mohammad Omar.

4: Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi will serve as acting foreign minister;

5: Sher Muhammad Abbas Stanekzai will be deputy foreign minister. He was part of the Taliban team that negotiated with the US in Doha, Qatar;

6: Hedayatullah Badri gets the portfolio of acting finance minister;

7: Sirajuddin Haqqani will serve as acting interior minister;

8: Mullah Noorullah Munir will serve as Education Minister,

9: Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq will be caretaker head of the Intelligence Directorate (NDS);

10: Mullah Taj Mir Jawad will serve as deputy of the intelligence chief;

11: Mullah Rahmatullah Najib will the second deputy in the intelligence ministry;

12: Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani will be Minister of Refugees;

13: Qari Fasihuddin will be the Chief of Army staff.

The Taliban Leader, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada told the newly-formed interim government to uphold the Shariah.

This was also reflected in the statement issued by the Taliban about the new government.

It said, the Taliban want “strong and healthy relations with our neighbours and all other countries based on mutual respect and interaction.”

The statement clarified that the Taliban would respect international laws and treaties “that are not in conflict with Islamic law and the country’s national values.”

Some of the newly appointed ministers are on the UN black list.

Both the new prime minister as well as the new interior minister Sirajuddin Haqqani were placed on the UN blacklist, under US pressure.

The UN blacklist or terrorist designation are based not on any principle but what suits the US and the West at any given time.

Any person or government that opposes US policies may find themselves on the “terrorist” list.

They can also be taken off it if the US finds them useful.

The case of the Mujahideen-e Khalq Organization (MKO), more appropriately called the munafiqeen (hypocrites) in Iran were on the US terrorist list until 2012.

They were removed from this list because they carried out terrorist acts against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Now US officials and congressmen are regular fixtures at the annual hate fests this terrorist outfit organizes in France.

Notorious criminals like John Bolton and Rudy Giuliani have regularly appeared on their platform, for a hefty fee, of course.

When asked why the Taliban did not include other ethnic groups or women in the interim cabinet, their response was: “Why should we let others pick our cabinet when other countries pick their own?”

The days of the West choosing governments for other countries are over.

The sooner they get used to this new reality, the better for everyone.

China's E-money: Can It Challenge the Dollar Hegemony?

Apr 24, 2021 The internationalization of RMB is an unstoppable trend. China wants to use its currency to buy resources and export products, and vice versa. With its growing dominance in manufacturing worldwide, it cannot tolerate being charged an exchange fee for almost every transaction it does with various countries every day.
