Another China's one-child population control policy unintended consequence.
VOAvideo | July 07, 2010 - More than three decades after it began, China's one-child population control policy has some unintended consequences. Because of a traditional preference for boys, thousands of couples abort female fetuses, and the Chinese government says that last year, 119 boys were born for every 100 girls. The shortage of young women is pushing some families turn to human traffickers to find wives for their sons. The traffickers often go to neighboring Burma, Mongolia, Vietnam, Laos and North Korea to buy or kidnap women. Henry Morton recently visited Nabang, just inside China's border with Burma and has this story.

interesting thoughts! - "Princess Hijab's" late night campaign
AlJazeeraEnglish | July 06, 2010 - A "graffiti artist" in Paris, the French capital, travels around the city incognito late at night painting Islamic face veils on models displayed in posters and billboards.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, told Al Jazeera that she created the alias "Princess Hijab" for herself when she goes out for her excursions that started five years ago.
But she says the so-called "hibajizing" of the models is a symbolic statement that is not religious in any way or form.
France set to vote on face veil ban.
AlJazeeraEnglish | July 06, 2010 - France's parliament is set to vote on a proposed legislation banning the wearing of face veils in public places.
If passed, prospective punishments for those violating the law include imprisonment and a hefty fine.
Violators of the ban may also be forced to take educational classes on how to be a proper French citizen in a country home to five million Muslims.
Rights groups have criticised the bill for being demeaning and stifling freedom of expression.

Sour Milk - reasons to take your power back.
June 26, 2010 | There are so many reasons to take our power back and refuse to support the corporate takeover of our world. But here's another.
Dairy farmers from across America are coming together to tell stories of price manipulation, antitrust violations and more, that have ultimately led to the loss of their herds, their farms, their livelihoods and in some cases even their own lives.
Here is yet another example of the corporate fascist saturation of our governmental administrations. It Is virtually corporate ownership of gov't officials.

THE BUSINESS OF HATE
June 24, 2010 | - Racism :
Racism is just another form of divide and conquer. Racism to us is personal, but to the elite it is a tool of manipulation. Even touching on this subject in any way will cause people to lose their minds and go on the attack without even thinking about what is being said. I have seen it a million times before. It is mush easier to hate than to love these days.
The media does nothing to help racism. They only promote it. Their uses of the word over the years have been disgraceful. We all know there is racism in the world, but most of us try to be respectful of the subject and not just accuse someone of being a racist unless there is some very good evidence to back that kind of statement up.
