Videos deepen mystery surrounding Iranian nuclear scientist.
AlJazeeraEnglish — June 08, 2010 — A missing Iranian nuclear scientist has appeared in two different videos, each offering contradictory accounts of his whereabouts.
The videos emerged on the eve of a UN Security Council vote on a fresh round of sanctions over Iran's nuclear programme.
In one, released by Iranian state television, a man said to be Shahram Amiri says he was kidnapped by US intelligence agents during a religious pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, a claim the US has denied.
In the other, a man who also identifies himself as Amiri, says he is freely living in the US, pursuing an advanced degree in physics.

Mystery Of Missing Iranian Nuclear Scientist
RussiaToday — June 09, 2010 — There are new videos that show conflicting stories about the missing Iranian scientist. An Iranian man, identified as a missing nuclear scientist, has said he has been abducted and taken to the United States. The scientist, Shahram Amiri, disappeared while on a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in June 2009. Webster Tarpley says that there is strong evidence that shows this was a CIA kidnapping with the help of Saudi Arabia.
