A number of other countries, including Argentina and Iran, want to join BRICS. Indonesia,Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Egypt are also thinking about joining BRICS, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said.
Russia welcomes Algeria's decision to apply to join the BRICS- the deputy Foreign Minister of Russia . He also added that the President of Algeria may pay a visit to Russia by the end of the year.
