Deficit Fighting at G-20



June 27, 2010 | The top industrialized and developing nations of the world ended the G-20 summit with a pledge to cut their budget deficits in half within three years. As Chip Reid reports, Obama urged more stimulus spending.









G20 leaders pledge to cut budget deficits:



June 27, 2010 | The G20 summit has concluded in the Canadian city of Toronto on Sunday with world leaders pledging to halve budget deficits by 2013 and stabilise or reduce government debt by 2016.

It is now up to individual countries to implement measures to reach their targets and spur financial growth.

Al Jazeera's Imtiaz Tyab reports from Toronto on how global unity on an economic plan to recover from the recession was a key theme in the summit.
