Selina Downes reports from near the Thai-Myanmar border where increased drug smuggling and opium production has prompted the crackdown.

Along the border between Thailand and Myanmar, authorities are battling an old problem that's taken on a new face. For years, the border area known as the golden triangle was the most prolific heroin producing area in the world. But now, the focus of illegal drug traffickers in that area has shifted: to the production of millions of amphetamine pills.
